This is Harlee and my cousin Christian. He will be 6 in January and he is the youngest of four kids and the only boy. He is ALL boy but man did he love little Harlee. He was so precious. I had never met Christian before and it was a true joy to get to know this sweet little boy. My Harlee sure thought he was special too!

tornado season

This has been a tornado week man. We have had some wicked weather. On Thursday the tornado sirens actually went off. A nurse at the hospital saw spinning clouds so we had to move all the babies into this center "safe room". It was crazy. People in the hospital were freakin out. I get a call from my husband. "Have you seen these awesome clouds? I just got some awesome shots!", he says. I just had to laugh. We were getting people to safety and my husband and children were playing in it and watching it. Men are so much more relaxed than women it is hilarious. He did, however, get some cool shots and the kids had fun. The tornado touched down NE of downtown and we received no damage so all was good. Then last night we had yet another. Crazy stuff man. The joys of living in the Texas Panhandle.

Hello out there!

I am sur eyou are all wondering what happened to me. Man life has been crazy here. On Monday Jared Harlee
and I rreturned from Utah. We went to Logan for our neices wedding in the Logan temple. She is so cute and you tell she was incredibly happy. What was super fun though was how many people came to support them. They had tons of friends and family there. What was really special though, was that 8 of the 10 Pyfer children were there. It was so much FUN! It was fun to watch Jared in his own element with all his brothers and sisters. They laughed a ton! They are a funny group of people. It was neat. I hope it doesnt take as long this time around before they all get together again.

I will post pictures when they are ready of our trip. Peace!

Ella

I have noticed a tenderness in my oldest. She is socially a little akward but there is such a sweet little spirit in there. A very dear friend of mine has two children in glasses. They are basically cross eyed. They recently had surgery to have this problem corrected. Ella has not seen her friend Caitlin since Christmas but still talks about her often. It is like not a day has passed. I mentioned to Ella the other day that Caitlin got her eyes fixed. She looked at me with tears in her little eyes and said, "oh mom I am so happy". Then that night in her prayers she thanked HEavenly Father for her best friend Caitlin and that she could "have a nice nice dr to fix her eyes for her". Every night since she prays that her eyes will stay fixed. It is these moments as a mom that I learn so much from my children. She didnt see it as the drs job she saw as the drs privaledge. When the scriptures teach us to be as little children it spot on. I am so proud to be her mother. What a neat little lady she is.

I am officially old

A couple of days ago Ella noticed that she had a couple of loose teeth. She has been looking for them for quite some time now. One of the kids at school had lost a tooth and talked about the money that the tooth fairy had left behind. Man she wanted to lose a tooth. It was like a right of passage for her. She was so cute about it. Well last night while lying in bed she played with them enough that they came out. She brought those teeth out to us and tucked them right underneath her pillow. She had no problem at all going asleep after that. This morning when she awoke the tooth fairy had taken her teeth and put two 1$ bills in their place. I was not here for it. I was at work already but I hear there was a commotion like none other. I cant believe my little girl lost 2 teeth! It just doesnt feel like she is old enough. It seems like before long she will be getting baptized and then go to High School and get married and have babies. It just isnt right. She is still talking about it and I am sure it will be BIG news in our house for quite some time.

Breil turns 3!!!

This boy LOVES cake! I wanted to buy him a cake but he found some cupcakes that he insisted so that is what we had. Clearly the frosting is his favorite part.
My mom came up for Breils bday. She had been in Galveston the previous weekend and picked up hats for Ella and Breil. They put Ellas on Harlees head. She is so cute...and yes...she always has her fingers in her mouth.

The boy loves his superheros!

He got this cool scooter. Grandpa bought one for Ella and the kids scoot all around the place. It is a super fun toy!

and more..

Calvin Klein better watch out for these boys!
For Katys 16th I wrapped 16 candy bars in 16 one dollar bills and put them in a box. Then I wrapped the box 16 times. It was so funny to watch her go layer by layer. She was a good sport about the whole thing.

My aunt Becky also came up from San Antonio with her daughter Lauren. I know it meant a lot to Daniel to have her there. Lauren and Ella play real well topgether so I know they loved it.
