Fort Worth Water Gardens

There is this cool place down at the bottom that you can run circles at the center of the falls. Breil had to be convinced to go down there and this was the only shot of him not holding his dads hand but Ella just jumped and ran. There was no fear. Harlee stayed above and watched.
This was the best shot of Breil in front. The sun was strong that day so it was hard to get pictures.

This is off to the side of the main garden. It is my favorite part because you can sit on the steps and your feet get sprayed.

A week or so ago we took the kids downtown to the Water Gardens. It is a huge place that people go here in Fort Worth. It is a really cool place and when it is hot outside it is fun to get sprayed with a little water. They just sit perfectly in the middle of downtown. This particular day they were not very crowded either. I took the camera for the day too. Jared wanted it stated that I took these pictures. I am proud of it too!

Easter 2009

Easter Sunday

Harlee has decided she will NOT sit and pose for any pictures. This has become very frustrating for Jared. He decided to sit her there anyway. We figure it still captures the moment (I guess). It was sad though. Ella is on the high end of here size and Harlee is on the small end so this was the first and probably only time they will ever be in matching dresses! Oh well. We tried!
We had a couple of egg hunts over the weekend but this was one of them. The little boy with the red hair is Aidan. He is my cousin. He and Breil have become good buddies lately. Note: Breil is 7 months older than Aido. Bman is a little dude!

Harlee did more aimless wandering than actual hunting but it was still a lot of fun! THis was also the last day she was willing to smile for the camera. Those days are long gone :(

Zoo Field Trip

This is Ella at the end of the day before leaving! She had a long and fun day!

The girls were so excited to look at the elephants. There was a baby elephant, sort of. He is 10 years old but amazingly a lot smaller than the others and the girls got a kick out of it.

Yesterday I went to the Zoo with Ella and her Kindergarten class. My mom kept the little kids so I could go alone and spend the day with Ella. I also signed up to chaperone a group but only ended up with 1 extra little girl. HEr name is Hannah. She was pretty easy and the girls and I had a lot of fun. Here are a couple of photos from the day!

These are my girls. Chip (Elizabeth), Hannah and Rachel Anderson. At one point they were my young women, babysitters, and then became friends to our family. They were my heros while Jared was away. I do not know what I would have done without them. One day I hope my little brother will marry Chip but we shall see. These are some of the neatest girls I have known. THey belong on my family blog!

The Patriarch of Our Family

Oh that is one sexy beast of a man right there!
He is always talking about how kids wont smile but I was trying to get areal smile out of him and this is what I got. Hmmm...maybe he should take some of his own advice! :)

Somebody ticked off the beast!

Jared was in town this weekend and last night he and I played an intense game of Uno. We always play board games and card games together. Being a photographer he is always takin pictures, well I stole his camera and he became my model for awhile. He is the prince of faces. I have to say prince because I think his dad holds the crown on that one. He was a nice little model and we had fun!

Santa!

I know this is old but I am just now taking the time to do this. At Christmastime my hospital had Santa fly in on a helicopter. My boss let me go get Breil so he could come see Santa. The news was their and Breil made it on. He shot webs for the Camera Man! It was hilarious!

Spiderman

So many of you may not know that Spiderman lives in our house. Sometimes he is good and sometimes he is bad. Everyday Breil wears his costumes. Sometimes it is the red one and sometimes it is the black one. When I say everyday I mean it too. The ladies at daycare love it. I do wash them and I do make him alternate for hygene sake but other than that he has them on everyday. It is like the little kid flash from Daddy Daycare. Hilarious. Well, when Jared got into town he made him take them off. He told him to be Peter Parker for awhile. He was cool with it for about a day and then that was it. He never let the personna go though. While Jared was trying to take pics for our Christmas card he could not get him to stop shooting webs. I thought this was worth sharing.
